Getting older doesn’t mean you have to slow down! Our independent living complex offers proximity to New Orleans for fun trips or visits with family and friends. Our room options also create a serene escape and a relaxing atmosphere.
The Phase I plans include a 511 sq. ft studio option, a 617 sq. ft 1 bedroom apartment, and an 877 sq. ft 2 bedroom apartment. The Phase II floor plans include a 507 sq. ft studio apartment, a 613 sq. ft 1 bedroom apartment, and an 869 sq. ft 2 bedroom apartment. You can view pictures of the renovated apartments here.
Health & Wellness
Independent living can be the best of both worlds. Our residents can take a trip to New Orleans, but we also offer plenty of activities at The Windsor to keep them entertained! We host bingo games, musical presentations, happy hours, exercise classes, and even dances. We also host Catholic and Protestant worship services and studies weekly.
The Windsor independent living experience also includes spiritual growth groups, painting, movie nights, and nature walks. Our activity calendar updates each month, so be sure to give it a look!
Additional Amenities
At The Windsor Senior Living, we want you to enjoy your retirement. To help accomplish this, we offer a full-service salon, restaurant-style dining, a billiards room, weekly housekeeping, a game room, and a library. If you would like to learn more skills as you enjoy retirement, we have continuing education classes available as well. In addition, The Windsor Senior Living Community also has a pond on-site.
When you are taking a break from visiting friends and family in New Orleans, we want you to feel at home in your independent living apartment. We encourage our residents to bring their furniture from their previous home or furnish it with a new style! It is your choice. Residents are welcome to decorate their apartments how they like.
Additionally, The Windsor Independent Living offers a guest apartment for friends and family to visit our residents. The guest apartment is only $80 a night and can be rented for a whole week. This apartment has a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The accommodations also come with two included meals per day!
Payment
There are several options for paying for independent living at The Windsor Senior Living community. Our community is private pay, but some insurance companies can help cover the costs. Veterans and their spouses can qualify for benefits that assist with the payment as well.
