Financial Information
The Windsor is a private pay senior living community. However, residents who are veterans or the widow of a verteran may qualify for veteran’s benefits that can be paid to the veteran or widow of a veteran. Long term care insurance is another option to help offset the cost of rent. Whether it Veteran’s benefits or long term care insurance, the resident pays rent to The Windsor and the VA or insurance company reimburses the resident. Please check with the Vteran’s Administration and/or your insurance company in regards to benefits.
VA and Longterm Care
If you or your parents are a veteran or the widow of a veteran, they may be eligible for a wide variety of benefits available to all U.S. military Veterans. For complete details, go to www.benefits.va.gov. Most long-term care policies do help cover the costs of Independent and Assisted Living; however, you will need to check with your insurance provider to verify the coverage.
Guest Apartment
The Windsor offers guests of residents the use of a beautifully appointed guest apartment for the minimal price of $80 a night which includes 2 free meals a day. The guest apartment has a full kitchen, sitting room with television, bedroom with queen size bed, and a large bathroom. The apartment is first come first served and can only be rented for a week at the time.
